My favorite so far was one with Poison. They showed up at the MTV Video awards totally trashed - no surprise - and were supposed to perform "Unskinny Bop" (btw, WTF is an unskinny bop?!?). They were so ripped they started playing during a commercial break, and it took almost a minute before the host (Arsenio Hall) and producers could get their attention to stop until the show came back (it was live).

Back on the air, cue the band and...... CC is so wasted he forgets what song they are supposed to be playing and rips into "Talk Dirty To Me" instead! The rest of the band was looking around like WTF!?, but just went with it. After they walked off stage Brett & CC literally came to blows over it and had a fist fight in the wings!

Baimun- they all seem to be on the funny/stupid side. They aren't touching on the serious side of things. More of the "what type of attitiude did you need to have to be considered Metal, and who demonstrated it".

Wendy Williams has been on there 2 or 3 times, some bands that I never heard of. All the items in the countdown seem to be on the goody feelings side of things.

Ozzy and the Alamo made it, The only two Def Leppard items I remember are one related to "Bad Metal Mullet", and the naked sex show under the stage at the "in the round" Def Leppard concerts.

Randy Rhodes hasn't been on the list as yet, and as far as Hendrix - he was only referenced when the story about the groupie that cast all the star's penises in plaster was on.

Thanks to -meg's earlier post on this I got hooked on it last night. Wife wasn't into it so she went to the bedroom to watch some Korean tapes, lol.

Some are kind of dumb but for the most part they are hilarious. Especially, the "I'm more Metal than you and can kick your ass" ones, lol.

And is Tawny Kitaen starting to show her age a bit or what? Still hot, but more in a MILF kinda way now [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]

It is funny/goofy for the most part, but there has been some serious stuff like Nikki Sixx's OD, the Judas Priest suicide trial, Skid Row being the first metal album to debut at #1 on Billboard, the P.M.R.C. parental advisory stickers, the Metallica/Napster stuff, etc. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

And Mega, the Def Leppard drummer incident is in the top 20, as will be another serious "moment".... Rob Halford's coming out. [img]wink.gif[/img]
